Lets be honest. I love this bed. I've seen many platform beds with a simple design, but there's just something about this one that makes it so versatile. With the addition of the neutral gray it really gives a lot  of possibilities for a space. There are similar beds at Ikea, but you always get the feeling that they might fall apart. I've heard horror stories of broken slats and collapsing beds when it comes to Ikea. It'd probably be safer and cheaper to make one. However if you're willing to drop the extra dough, The Peg Leg Bed at CB2. Might be the way to go.

Lauren Upholstered Queen-size Canopy Bed $378.99

I've searched high and low for a simple affordable canopy bed and this may be the happy medium you too are looking for. Those looking for a canopy bed are often faced with an impossible choice. Either buy the cheap and ugly canopy affordably or buy the more expensive models that can range into the thousands. I have many more links to far more elaborate models that we'll get to another time, but for now this may be the excellent buy you're looking for.

This bed is another one of my favorites. A metal platform bed with sturdy looking metal slats and mid support beams. All you need is a mattress and you're done. Very versatile and amendable to different color schemes.
